Description
Basic Implant Surgery Set, 19 Pieces
The basic implant surgery set holds 19 pieces for planning, flap work and graft handling at a routine implant visit. It leans on measuring tools, so you can check the site before and during placement.
Three ways to measure
- UNC 15 probe: reads tissue depth.
- Depth gauge: checks the prepared site.
- Bone caliper, 0-35 mm: spans ridge width.
- Ruler, 15 cm: confirms spacing.
Exam and flap
Begin with the EXP 23 explorer, the #5 front-surface mirror on its #6 handle, and London College forceps. Then load the 3G scalpel handle. After the incision, the flap rises with the titanium Molt elevator, and the Lucas 86 curette cleans the site.
Moving graft where it belongs
A titanium bone carrier picks up graft from the mixing bowl. Because titanium is light, it handles well near implant parts. Then you can place graft at the site in small loads.
Holding, clamping and stitching
Curved Adson 12 cm forceps steady the flap, while a haemostat clamps small bleeders. Next, the carbide Crile-Wood needle holder places sutures, and 12 cm Goldman-Fox scissors trim. The cheek stays back with the University of Minnesota retractor, and the 1.8 ml syringe numbs the area.
Basic or complete?
Choose this kit for routine single sites. By contrast, the 24-piece complete kit adds packers, an osteotome and a Kerrison.
Service and sterilization
Note that the set is sent non-sterile; after cleaning and sterilization it is reusable from then on. We make it to our specification and run inspection in the United States. All the steel meets ASTM F899. What is more, it carries a written pledge of three years against manufacturing defects. Head to our set collection, see the implant start up kit, or check the FAQ.
