Basic Extraction Set, 8 Pieces
Our basic extraction set holds eight core pieces for a simple surgical extraction. It focuses on flap, luxation and bone trimming, without the extras of a full room.
Starting with titanium
Two titanium tools open the case. The PT-4 works as a periosteal and a periotome, so it can enter the ligament space. Then the 24G elevator lifts tissue. Because titanium is light, both are easy to steer.
Three elevators for luxation
- Seldin 34 for firm luxation.
- Apexo 301 with a smooth straight blade.
- Apexo 301 serrated for extra grip on the root.
Smooth or serrated?
The two Apexo blades share a shape. However, the serrated one bites into the root surface more. As a result, many users reach for it when a smooth blade slips.
Finishing the socket
If a root tip stays behind, the Heidbrink 13/14 pick can lift it. Then the Blumenthal 15 cm rongeur trims sharp bone, and the Miller 10 curette cleans the socket.
Small kit, clear limits
You still need a syringe, mirror, forceps, suction and suture tools. For those, the 16 and 22-piece kits are a better fit. Still, as a matched core, this group saves you from building a tray one piece at a time, and it lets new staff learn a short, fixed layout.
Caring for the set
The pieces arrive non-sterile. Clean and sterilize the extraction tools, and they are reusable again and again. We design to our own specification and inspect each tool in the United States.
