Articulators

A dental articulator holds the upper and lower casts in a fixed relationship, so a technician can build and check restorations off the patient. We offer eleven versions from the articulators page of our supplier catalogue. Nine are colour finishes of one simple model. The other two are larger, adjustable designs.

Nine Finishes of the Simple Model

The simple articulators share one design and differ only in colour. Therefore your choice is about looks, or about colour coding benches and cases. For example, a lab can give each technician a different colour.

• Stainless Steel Finish, Golden Black Metallic, Golden Orange Metallic.
• Brown, Royal Blue, Silver Black Metallic.
• Silver Blue Metallic, Silver Green Metallic, Copper Black Metallic.

Adjustable, Style 1 and Style 2

The two adjustable articulators are larger than the simple model and allow adjustment. However, the catalogue gives no written settings for either one. So compare the Style 1 and Style 2 photos to see how their frames and adjustment points differ. Then choose the one that suits your mounting workflow.

Simple or Adjustable?

A simple articulator works well for single units, small bridges and study models, where a basic hinge is enough. On the other hand, an adjustable model gives more control when a case needs closer setting. Many labs keep several simple frames for daily volume, plus one adjustable unit for larger work.

Our team inspects every articulator in the United States before it ships. Units arrive non-sterile; wipe down and disinfect them as your lab protocol requires. All eleven versions carry three years against manufacturing defects, whatever the colour or style. Only the Stainless Steel Finish refers to a steel look, so we make no wider material claim; our steel instruments follow the ASTM F899 standard.
