Antkoviak Wax Knives

Dental wax needs a knife that slices cleanly when warm and trims crisply when cool. The Antkoviak is a classic lab pattern for that work. Each antkoviak wax knife on this page measures 12.5 cm overall, a length that sits comfortably between thumb and fingers. Two versions are listed, Style 1 and Style 2, and both share that same length.

Where the Antkoviak Earns Its Place

Technicians and dentists reach for a wax knife when trimming occlusal rims, cutting baseplate wax or carving a wax pattern down to size. Also, the knife can be warmed over a flame to melt wax sections together, as is common with lab knives. Because the blade is steel, it tolerates repeated heating and cleaning.

Style 1 or Style 2
