Aluminium Tray

Description

Aluminium Tray

This perforated aluminium sterilizing tray is light and flat, with holes across the base. It carries instruments through washing and steam cycles while adding little weight to the load. All five sizes share a 50 mm height.

Why aluminium

Aluminium weighs far less than steel. So a large tray stays easy to lift, even when full. However, it needs gentler care than stainless, because strong alkaline detergents can mark or dull it.

The perforated base

The holes let water drain out and let steam reach the load from below. In turn, the tray dries well at the end of the cycle. Lay items flat so each one sits over open holes.

Five footprints

Each tray is 50 mm deep. Choose by the size of your set and your chamber.

• 300 × 300 mm, a square format.
• 430 × 285 mm and 460 × 380 mm.
• 460 × 460 mm, a large square.
• 460 × 610 mm, the largest size.

Cleaning tips

Use mild or pH-neutral detergents that suit aluminium where you can. Also, rinse well and dry the tray before storage. Avoid scouring pads, since they scratch the surface. In short, gentle care keeps the finish bright.

Ready for use

The tray ships non-sterile. Before its first load, clean and sterilize it; after that, the aluminium sterilizing tray is reusable for every new set. Check the base now and then for dents.

We guarantee this tray for three years against manufacturing defects, whatever size you choose. Note that this tray is aluminium, not stainless steel, while the instruments you load on it may be stainless.
