This cylinder cartridge syringe adaptor is a spare part for our cylinder syringe. It sits inside the barrel and holds the cartridge in place. You can buy it on its own to replace a lost piece or to keep a spare.

What the adaptor does

Cartridges vary slightly in size. Therefore, the adaptor takes up the space so the cartridge sits centred and does not rattle. A snug fit also helps aspiration work as it should.

Fitting it

Open the barrel and drop the adaptor in before the cartridge. Then load the cartridge and close the barrel. Finally, check that the cartridge does not move when you tilt the syringe.
