Tischler Cervical Biopsy and Specimen Forceps Shaft, Tip Only
Each Tischler biopsy tip replaces the working end of our interchangeable cervical biopsy forceps. It comes as a component with a 25 cm shaft and Tischler punch jaws, without a handle.
Handle sold separately
You attach this shaft to the handle-only listing in the same range. Therefore, check that you have a handle before placing the order. Also, one handle can serve several tip patterns.
The Tischler jaw pattern
Tischler jaws rank among the most familiar punch jaws in colposcopy. So clinicians often use them to sample a visible lesion on the cervix. Then the specimen goes to pathology in a labeled pot.

Fitting the tip
Attach the Tischler biopsy tip to the handle and check that it sits firmly. Next, work the jaws a few times before use. However, stop and recheck if the action feels rough.
Reprocessing Tischler biopsy tip
Take the tip off the handle, then flush and brush the jaws. Also, look for tissue lodged behind the jaw edges. Dry every part and keep the Tischler biopsy tip in a tray that protects the jaws from knocks.
