Description
Cervical Biopsy and Specimen Forceps Handle Only
This cervical biopsy forceps handle is a component sold on its own, with no tip attached. It takes the separate tip-only shafts from our interchangeable-tip range.
Compatible tips
The handle accepts the Tischler, Kevorkian, Eppendorf and Mini-Townsend tip-only shafts. So one grip can deliver several jaw patterns. Then you pick the tip that fits each lesion.
One size
The handle comes in one size only. Also, every tip then works the same way in the hand. As a result, staff learn one grip for the whole system.
Why a modular system
Replacing a tip costs less than replacing a whole forceps. In addition, clinics can store one or two handles and a rack of tips. Therefore, the cervical biopsy forceps handle becomes the core of a compact kit.
Ordering a starter kit
First, order one handle for each room where you perform colposcopy. Next, add the tip patterns your clinicians prefer. Finally, consider a second handle as a backup for this cervical biopsy forceps system.
Cleaning cervical biopsy forceps handle
Detach any tip before you clean the handle. Then scrub the grip and the connection point with a soft brush and rinse. Let it air-dry fully, then keep it in a drawer beside its matching tips.
