Description
Rubber Dam Clamps Forceps, Complete set of 3 pcs.
A rubber dam clamp has to be spread open, carried to the tooth and released under control. Clamp forceps do that work, with tips that engage the holes in the clamp jaws. This rubber dam forceps set brings three pieces together in one order. Intrace USA, an Atlanta distributor, packs the set only after each piece is checked in the United States.
Why Buy Three at Once
Busy operatories rarely run on one pair of forceps. One is in the autoclave while another is on the tray, and a third waits as a spare. Also, buying them together keeps every room on the same feel. As a result, assistants switch chairs without adjusting their technique.
What the Catalogue Shows
The supplier lists this item simply as a complete set of 3 pieces on its clamp forceps page. It does not name the patterns inside the set. Therefore, please view the product photos to see each piece before you order. If you need a particular named forceps pattern, contact us and we will help you compare.
Using Clamp Forceps Gently
First, engage both forceps tips in the clamp holes. Next, open the handles only until the clamp clears the widest part of the crown. Then seat the jaws below the height of contour and release slowly. Overspreading weakens a clamp bow, so a light hand protects your clamp stock as well as the forceps.
Cleaning the Joint and Tips
Debris tends to gather in the joint and around the tips. So scrub those areas with a brush and rinse well before drying. The rubber dam forceps set ships non-sterile; reprocess all three pieces through your usual wash and autoclave cycle first. Any of the three forceps can be claimed under our warranty of three years against manufacturing defects.
These forceps use stainless steel that satisfies ASTM F899. Find more isolation tools in the Diagnostic, Periodontal and Restorative department, stock your kit with Rubber Dam Clamps in 59 figures, or browse our ordering FAQs.
