Description
Pierce Septum Periosteal Elevator
ENT surgeons use the Pierce septum elevator to lift the covering of the septum during septoplasty. It is a straight 20 cm elevator that keeps the flap intact while the framework lies bare.
Straight shaft, clear feedback
Because the shaft runs straight, the surgeon can sense the tip through the hand. Therefore it becomes easier to stay in the right plane. That matters when the lining is thin.
Length of 20 cm
We list the Pierce pattern at 20 cm. That reach suits most septal cases, from front to middle. Contact us if you need more measurements, such as tip width.
In the flow of a case
First, the surgeon incises the lining. Then the elevator raises the flap along the cartilage. Later, the same elevator may help lift the lining off bony parts further back.
Choosing among straight elevators
We sell several straight elevators of similar length. So the choice often comes down to the name your surgeon trained with. If unsure, ask us for photos to compare tips.
Caring for your Pierce septum elevator
Clean the instrument soon after use so tissue cannot harden on it. Rinse and dry it thoroughly. Then sterilize it and store it with the tip protected.

Ordering and inspection of the Pierce pattern
We offer our three-year warranty for any workmanship defect in this straight 20 cm tool. Before shipping, a teammate in Atlanta looks over the Pierce tip by hand. Our FAQ covers ordering, delivery and care. Steel types for septal elevators and other surgical instruments appear in ASTM F899. For a shorter straight option, compare the Roger septum elevator. Then explore the ENT instruments category page.
