Description
Pean-Nippon Artery Forceps
Pean-Nippon forceps are a serrated artery forceps in the Pean family. The manufacturer lists them separately from the Rochester-Pean.
Three lengths
Choose 14.5, 16 or 18 cm to suit the depth of the field.
Straight or curved
Straight jaws suit direct clamping. However, curved jaws improve your view of the tips.
No teeth
The jaws carry serrations but no teeth. So they hold vessels without piercing them.
Matching existing stock
Pean patterns vary between makers. Therefore, if you are adding to an existing set, compare jaw length and weight first. Also, ask us to confirm dimensions before dispatch if you need an exact match. If your team already uses Pean-Nippon clamps, ordering the same pattern keeps handling consistent across sets. Also, mixed patterns on one tray can confuse counts. So many buyers stay with the pattern they already know, then add sizes as the service grows.
Cleaning Pean-Nippon forceps
Clean the serrations with a nylon brush. Then rinse, dry and check the jaws close evenly along their length.
