Overholt-Geissendoerfer forceps are a dissecting and ligature clamp. They come in two lengths and seven jaw figures.

21 cm or 27 cm

The 21 cm size fits the majority of deep cases. However, the 27 cm size adds reach in the chest.

Seven figures

The figures run from a gentle curve to a strong one. So you can match the jaw to the approach.

Dissect and tie

The tips spread tissue. Then they hold the ligature as you draw it through.

Reprocessing Overholt-Geissendoerfer forceps

Clean inside the curve where debris gathers. Next, rinse and dry by hand. Finally, keep them in a flat tray with the ratchet released.
