Osteotome Surgical Set, 19 Pieces
The osteotome surgical set is a 19-piece kit for implant site work, covering everything between the first probe reading and the closing stitch. It pairs bone plugging and packing tools with a titanium periotome and fine carbide suture tools.
Reading the site before you cut
First, the UNC 15 probe and the 15 cm ruler help you note depths and widths. Two mirrors, one octagonal and thin, the other a #5 double-surface, give more than one view. Then the angled 15 cm handle takes your blade.
Soft tissue and flap
Two KPO 1/2 surgical knives help with tissue near the crest. After that, the Allen 9 elevator, with titanium tips, lifts the flap. The titanium periotome can enter the ligament space where a gentle approach suits.
Bone plugger and packer at work
The 3 mm plugger and the serrated IBP packer, 3 and 5 mm, are the bone tools here. Generally, teams use them to press graft or bone into a site. However, the set holds no separate osteotome blades, so add those if your method needs them.
Holding, cutting and suction
- Adson 12 cm and Gerald 18 cm carbide forceps hold tissue.
- A Castroviejo 16 cm carbide needle holder grips fine suture.
- Curved La Grange carbide and curved iris scissors cut and trim.
- Two retractors and a 2.5 mm Frazier tip keep the view clear.
This kit versus the bigger implant sets
Our 24-piece implant kit adds a curved osteotome, more packers and a Kerrison. By contrast, this one leans toward fine tissue work. Either way, a set gives matched pieces and less sorting.
Before the first case
Expect the kit to arrive non-sterile. Clean and sterilize it, and each piece is then reusable. Intrace specifies every pattern, and we inspect the finished pieces in the United States. The steel used meets ASTM F899. Also, KPO knives, packers and osteotome kit pieces hold three years against manufacturing defects through routine clinic use.
