The Moldenhauer foreign body instrument is a slim ENT hand tool with a curved working end. Clinicians reach behind a trapped bead, seed or insect with it and then draw the object outward.

Why the curved end matters

A straight probe tends to push an object deeper. The curved end, however, slips past the edge of the object and sits behind it. The clinician then pulls gently toward the opening, so the object travels out rather than in.

One length, one shape

We offer this pattern at 15 cm with a curved tip. That length gives enough reach for the outer ear canal and the front of the nose. Meanwhile, the handle stays long enough for a steady fingertip grip under a headlight.
