Description
Mini Drill Sleeve
The mini drill sleeve centers small drills during mini fragment and hand surgery. Two sizes match common small screws.
For small screws
Mini screws need small, precise pilot holes. Therefore a sleeve keeps the tiny drill bit on target. It also protects nearby tendons.
Two sizes
Choose 1.1 / 1.5 mm or 1.5 / 2.0 mm. Moreover, each pair links a drill size to a screw size. Check your mini screw system to match.
Who uses a mini drill sleeve
Finger fractures fixed with mini screws are its main use. Besides that, mini plating in the face and forefoot calls for it. Pediatric teams find it useful too.
Precise drilling
Hold the sleeve steady against the bone or plate. Then drill gently at a steady speed. Besides, small bits break if forced.
Small parts, careful handling
Mini sleeves are easy to misplace. Consequently, keep them in a labeled mini set. Count them after each case.
