Description
Kidney Bowl (l x h)
The kidney bowl’s curved shape fits against the body. That makes it ideal for catching fluids at the bedside or holding small instruments.
Six lengths
We offer 150 x 65, 200 x 90, 235 x 105, 250 x 115, 280 x 120 and 300 x 140 mm. In addition, the first figure is length; the second is depth. So the largest holds a good volume.
Bowl or lid
Each size comes as a bowl only or a lid only. Buy both to cover the contents. Alternatively, replace a lost lid without buying a new bowl.
Where the kidney bowl is used
Nurses use it for dressings, sharps and fluids. Theatres use it to hold small items on the trolley. Clinics also use it in minor procedures.
Why steel
Steel stands up to autoclaving and harsh cleaners. Also, it does not stain or crack. As a result, it lasts far longer than plastic.
Choosing sizes
Small bowls suit sharps and swabs. Larger bowls catch fluid during procedures. Additionally, many wards stock two or three sizes.

Cleaning steps

When you buy
Any bowl gets a personal review by our Atlanta team ahead of shipping. The protection on every bowl runs three years against manufacturing defects from receipt. Most hospitals hold two of these to avoid delays. Stainless for surgery has a reference standard, which is ASTM F899. Scan our main general surgery lineup for more. Supplied for clinical use. Exchanges sit on our refund terms. The care and sterilization guide mentions photo differences together with the alloy’s nickel.
