Description
Jones-Martin Towel Forceps With Clip
The Jones-Martin towel forceps are small spring clips with an extra built-in clip. The points hold the drape, and the clip holds a cable or tube against it.
Two jobs in one
One end pins the drape layers together. Meanwhile, the added clip grips suction tubing or a diathermy lead, so a single instrument does both jobs.
Sizes of the Jones-Martin towel forceps
We offer 9 cm and 10 cm. Furthermore, both sizes stay light enough for paper drapes and small fields.
Spring action
A spring closes the points without a ratchet. Consequently, the clip goes on and comes off with one hand, which speeds up draping.
Typical uses
Minor surgery, hand surgery and ophthalmic draping all suit small spring clips. They also help on larger cases to tidy cables along the drape edge.
Placing it
Squeeze the handles to open the points, then release them across a fold of drape. After that, press the cable into the built-in clip.
Jones or Jones-Martin
The plain Jones clip has no cable holder. By contrast, the Jones-Martin adds one, so many teams use it at the cable side of the field.
