Description
Jones Towel Forceps
The Jones towel clip is a small spring clip for holding light drapes. Its sizes start at only 5 cm, which suits eye, hand and other very small fields.
Very small sizes
We offer 5, 9 and 10 cm. The 5 cm clip is tiny and light, so it holds a paper drape near the eye without weight. Meanwhile, the larger sizes suit hand and minor surgery.
Spring closure on the Jones towel clip
A spring keeps the points closed without a ratchet. As a result, the clip goes on and off with one hand.
Typical uses
Ophthalmic, plastic and hand teams use Jones clips. In addition, they help fix fine tubing and light cables along small drapes.
Placing the clip
Squeeze to open, set the points across a small fold and release. Then check both points have passed through the drape.
Light drapes, light clips
A heavy forceps would drag a paper drape out of place. Therefore, small spring clips suit delicate draping best.
Stocking
Small trays usually carry four to six Jones clips. In addition, some teams keep a few spares for cables.
