The Four Double-Ended Figures

The catalogue shows Fig. 30/33, Fig. 31/32, Fig. 34/35 and Fig. 37/38 as double-ended Jacquette figures. Each pairs two blade shapes on one handle. So the numbers tell you which pair of ends you receive. Because the catalogue draws each figure rather than describing it, compare the photos to match shank bends with the teeth you treat most.

Style 2 Versions

All four double-ended figures also come as Style 2. That label means the same Jacquette figure mounted on an alternate Jacquette handle shown one page later in the catalogue. However, the catalogue does not say how that handle differs. Therefore, the photos are the guide when choosing a handle.

Single Fig. 34 and Fig. 35

Fig. 34 and Fig. 35 are offered on their own as well. These suit a clinician who wants just one of the two ends from the 34/35 pairing. For example, someone who already owns Fig. 34/35 may add a spare of the end they use most.

Set Figures J5/33, 1/1S and 2S/3S

Every Jacquette scaler is stainless steel and checked at our Atlanta office in the United States. Each one ships non-sterile, so run it through ultrasonic cleaning and the sterilizer first. Also, the Jacquette line is warranted three years against manufacturing defects on blades and handles alike.
