Description
Holding Part for Endoscope
This endoscope holding part lets the Martin arm hold an endoscope. It is an add-on component, not a stand-alone holder.
What it adds
On its own, the Martin arm holds retractors steady. With this part fitted, the same arm can hold a scope instead. So one system covers both jobs.
Why fix the scope
A hand-held scope moves with every small shift of the holder’s hands. By contrast, a fixed scope gives a steady image. Also, it frees a pair of hands in a crowded room for other tasks.
Part of the Martin system
This part belongs to the Martin holding system. Therefore, you need the post, arm and holding rod to use it. Those parts come as a complete set or one by one, so you can build up over time.
Before you order
The part comes in one size. Because scopes vary, contact us before ordering if you need to confirm fit. Then we can check the endoscope holding part against your scope.
Reprocessing endoscope holding part
Remove the part from the arm after each case. Next, clean its gripping surfaces by hand so no residue stays behind. Finally, dry it and keep it in the same tray as the other Martin pieces.
