Description
Martin Arm Complete
The Martin arm is a holding system that keeps a retractor or an endoscope steady. This complete set includes a table post, an arm with a joint and a holding rod.
Three parts in one set
The table post mounts the system to the OR table. Next, the jointed arm lets you set the angle and reach. Finally, the holding rod carries the instrument you want to fix in place.
Hands-free holding
Holding a blade or scope for a long case tires any assistant. So a fixed arm takes over that task and keeps the position you set. As a result, the view stays stable.
Retractors or endoscope
Surgeons often use it to hold a hand-held retractor steady. Alternatively, you can add the endoscope holding part for scope work. That way, one system serves both tasks.
Buying parts later
Each part of the Martin arm also comes on its own. So you can replace a worn joint or add a second rod later. Also, the endoscope holding part comes as a separate item.
Looking after Martin arm
Loosen the joint and separate the post, arm and rod before cleaning. Then brush the joint surfaces and flush any gaps with water. Plus, dry each part fully so the joint moves freely next time.
