Mouth Mirror Handles
Because a mirror head is only as useful as the grip behind it, the handle deserves attention. Our mouth mirror handles cover 24 options across weight, material, grip texture and head fitting. Intrace USA, an Atlanta distributor, groups them below so you can find the right one quickly.
Threaded or Cone Socket: Check Your Heads First
Heads attach in one of two ways, so match the handle to the heads you already stock. The Cone Socket, Cone Socket, Style 2 and Cone Socket, Style 3 handles take cone socket heads. Three set components also use that fitting: Cone Socket, #6, Cone Socket, 6EZ and Octagon, Cone Socket, Thin, where the octagon shape and slim profile are in the name. Otherwise, the remaining handles suit the threaded head type.
Hollow, Solid and Plated Bodies
- Standard and Standard, Style 2: the basic catalogue handle in two patterns.
- Hollow, Stainless Steel and its Style 2, Style 3 and Style 4 rows, plus the Plain version, give a lighter feel in stainless.
- Solid, Stainless Steel, by contrast, adds weight for a steadier hand.
- Also listed are Hollow and Hollow, Style 2, two further hollow patterns from the same catalogue page.
- Finally, Hollow, Chromium Plated puts a plated finish over a hollow body.
Aluminium Grips by Letter
Four lightweight aluminium handles carry catalogue letters. B has a natural stipple, while C is black anodised. G uses a diamond knurl, and R has a straight knurl. So a hygienist who wants less hand fatigue often starts here, then chooses texture by feel.
Patterns A, B and C
In addition, Pattern A, Pattern B and Pattern C are three more handle styles without further written detail. So compare their photos against the numbered styles before you decide.
Each handle is checked by our United States team, and every one carries a written promise covering three years against manufacturing defects in body or thread. Since handles ship non-sterile, clean and sterilize them with the heads removed.
Steel handles follow ASTM F899. See the full diagnostic instrument category, pick replacement Mouth Mirror Heads to fit your handles, or read our ordering FAQs.
Diagnostic handles for trained dental staff. Our handle and head care notes and shipping terms explain the details.
