The Franz retractor set is a self-retaining frame retractor supplied with four blades. It holds an open abdominal or pelvic wound steady without an assistant pulling on it.
Self-retaining design
Once the blades are in place, the frame keeps them there on its own. As a result, the team does not need a pair of hands on the retractor all case. The exposure also stays even from start to finish.
Four blades included
The set comes with four blades, so you can retract more than one side of the wound at once. For instance, two blades can hold the wound edges while others move tissue aside. Please ask us for the blade sizes if you need them before ordering.
