Cooley Vascular Dilator Malleable

The Cooley vascular dilator gently widens a vessel or graft opening before anastomosis. Its malleable shaft bends so you can shape it to the vessel path.

Eight tip diameters

Tips run 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 mm. So you can step up one size at a time. That slow progression keeps dilation controlled.

Bend to fit

Because the dilator is malleable, you can curve it by hand before use. Then it follows a bend in the vessel more easily. Also, you can straighten it again for the next case.

A compact 13 cm length

At 13 cm, it suits open fields close to the surface. Meanwhile, it stays light and easy to control between the fingers. For deeper work, a longer dilator may suit better.

Building a range

Most teams stock the Cooley vascular dilator in several diameters. For example, a run from 1.0 to 3.0 mm covers many small arteries. In addition, the 4.0 and 5.0 mm sizes handle larger vessels and grafts.

Care of Cooley vascular dilator

Rinse the tip soon after use to stop blood drying in place. Next, wipe the shaft clean and flush with water. Finally, dry it and store dilators by size so each one comes out fast.
