Description
Collin Dissecting Knife
The Collin dissecting knife comes in six blade figures. Each one gives a different edge profile, so you can keep the right shape on hand for each stage of a dissection.
Six figures to choose from
The figures differ in blade shape and length. So a set of two or three figures often covers most work. Every figure sits at the same price.
Collin or Dieffenbach
Both families are solid dissecting knives. However, the Collin range runs to six figures, while our Dieffenbach range runs to ten. If you already use one family, staying with it keeps the handle feel the same.
Looking after the Collin dissecting knife
Wash the blade after use and dry it fully. Then store each knife with its edge protected.
Choosing your first figures
Start with the figure closest to the knife you already use. Then add one figure with a different blade shape for contrast. As a result, two knives often cover most dissection tasks. If you teach anatomy, a full set of six lets students compare how each shape behaves. Also, mark each knife with its figure number, so nobody confuses them on the bench. Clear labels save time in busy teaching labs. Finally, inspect every edge before a session so the knives cut cleanly.

Buying from Intrace USA
We warrant every knife figure for three years against manufacturing defects. Also, each one passes an Atlanta check before dispatch. For care, see the FAQs. Likewise, ASTM F899 describes the steel, and the Dieffenbach range sits in our dissecting knives too.
Important information
The photo may show another figure, so check your choice. Professional use only. Since stainless steel contains nickel, reactions to it stay outside our liability. Read FDA guidance on materials.
