Description
Bone Mixing Bowl
Graft particles often need blood or saline before they go in. This bone mixing bowl gives you a place to blend them. It is small and stainless, so it fits on an implant tray and cleans up well.
Mixing Graft at the Tray
Place the dry graft in the bowl first. Then add blood from the site or sterile saline, a little at a time. Stir with a sterile spatula until the mix looks even. Next, carry it to the site with a graft carrier or spoon.
One Small Size
- A single small bowl; there are no options.
- Smooth inside, easy to scrape clean.
- Stainless steel throughout.
So you can stock one per implant kit. If you only need to hold graft, our tray bowl also works.
Tips for a Good Mix
Add fluid slowly, because too much makes the graft runny. Also follow the graft maker’s steps for timing. Keep the bowl near the field, so the mix stays moist.
Cleaning After the Case
Blood and graft dry fast on bare steel. Therefore, rinse the bowl soon after the case ends. Use a soft brush to remove all traces, then dry it.
Reusing the Bowl
It ships non-sterile. After cleaning, wrap or tray it, then steam sterilize it. As a result, you can reuse it for many years of surgery.
Steel, Checks and Cover
We set the spec for this bowl, and a team in the United States checks it. The metal follows ASTM F899. Every bone mixing bowl carries three years against manufacturing defects, seam and lip alike.
