Which size

• 57 x 25mm, lateral. The narrower of the two lateral widths. Two are fitted in a complete set.
• 80 x 25mm, lateral. The wider lateral. Two are fitted in a complete set.
• 120 x 45mm, central. The deep blade that holds the bladder back. One is fitted in a complete set.

When a blade needs replacing

Blades take the load and the knocks, which is why they wear out before the frame does. Look for a burr or a lifted edge on the working face, play in the mount, or pitting where cleaning has been rushed. Any of those is a reason to swap the blade rather than retire a frame that is otherwise sound.

Fit and care

Blades seat on the standard Millin mount and change without tools. Reprocess them off the frame, brushing the mount slot rather than rinsing it, and dry fully before refitting. Store blades flat so nothing rests on the working face.
