Babcock Tissue Grasping Forceps
The Babcock forceps hold delicate tubular structures without crushing them. Rounded, fenestrated jaws wrap around bowel, appendix or fallopian tube with an even, gentle grip.
Eight lengths
We offer 15, 16, 16.5, 17.5, 18, 19.5, 20 and 23 cm. As a result, there is a size for shallow and deep fields alike. Many trays carry a short and a long pair.
Stainless or tungsten carbide
Plain stainless steel suits routine use. Meanwhile, tungsten carbide jaw inserts hold their grip surface longer. Busy units often pick carbide.

Brush inside the rounded jaws and through the windows. Rinse the ratchet, then dry. Sterilise before storage.
