Description
Apical Root Elevators
A fractured apex can turn a quick case into a slow one. Our apical root elevators help you finish the job with a fine tip. They come from our surgical list in four figures, numbered 301 to 304 like the apexo series.
Same numbers, a fourth figure
If you know the apexo trio, the numbers will feel familiar. This list adds a 304, so you have one more option at the tray. Instead, we suggest you judge each figure in your own hand.
Matching figure to root
First, think about where the fragment sits and how you can reach it. Then pick the figure that follows that line with the least strain on your wrist.

We sell every figure singly. So you can start with one or two, and add the rest once you know your favorites.
Building a fine-tip tray
Many surgeons keep a small tray just for apical work. For example, it might hold a root tip pick, a few fine elevators and a curette. These four figures fit well in such a tray, since all of them aim at the same small target.
Gentle hands near the apex
Always work from a solid finger rest. First, place the tip in the ligament space beside the fragment. Then use short turns to wedge it free, rather than hard leverage. Avoid any fulcrum on a tooth that stays. When an implant is likely, this care also protects the buccal plate.
After the case
Fine tips need a close look after every case. Hence, check each one for bends or burrs after cleaning. A damaged tip can slip, so replace it rather than force it back to shape.
Ordering and support
We send every figure non-sterile. Put it through your usual wash and sterilization routine, and you may reuse it as often as it stays sound. The build is to our specification in stainless steel per ASTM F899. Any defect from production sits inside our cover, which spans three years against manufacturing defects in total. To compare the trio with a serrated option, see our Apexo root elevators. More patterns sit in our root elevator range, and the FAQs explain how to order.
