Description
Williams Screw Driver
The Williams screwdriver is a 23 cm driver offered with four head types. You can choose hexagonal, Phillips, single or slotted.
Four heads
The hexagonal head fits hex-recess screws. Meanwhile, the Phillips and slotted heads fit their matching screws. Additionally, the single head is listed as its own option.
Length of the Williams screwdriver
At 23 cm, the screwdriver reaches screws in moderately deep wounds. Therefore it suits hip, femur and pelvic hardware. Also, the handle gives good torque.
Who uses the Williams screwdriver
Trauma surgeons use it in screw fixation. Also, hardware removal cases use the slotted and Phillips heads for older screws. In addition, it suits revision trays.
Choosing heads
Match the head to your screw recesses. Consequently, many trays carry two or three versions. Older hardware often needs slotted or Phillips.
Firm seating
Seat the head fully before turning. Then apply steady pressure along the screw axis. Slipping damages the screw head.
Williams screwdriver options
- 23 cm long
- Hexagonal or Phillips head
- Single or slotted head

Care
Scrub each tip pattern with a small brush, since recess debris hides there. Rinse and dry. Retire any tip that has rounded.
When you buy
Teams receive three years against manufacturing defects with this screwdriver by default. Someone at our Atlanta base studies the Williams pattern with care before it ships. Often bought with it is our Lane screwdriver. Visit the rest of our orthopedics department for more. A spare screwdriver in stores saves a cancelled case. We can help with sizing for larger orders. For more on instrument metals, consult ASTM F899. For shipping questions, try our customer FAQ.
Only for qualified users. Read the delivery page for timing. Our sterilization page mentions picture variation as well as the nickel in stainless steel.
