Description
Waste Bucket Lid
The waste bucket lid covers our stainless waste buckets. It keeps used dressings and swabs out of sight and reduces odour in the room.
Sizes
Lids come for 8, 10, 12 and 15 litre buckets. Choose the size that matches your bucket. As a result, the lid sits snugly on the rim.
Why use a waste bucket lid
A covered bucket looks tidier. It also keeps splashes and smells contained. Therefore, many infection control teams prefer lidded bins.
Typical use
Theatres, clinics and sluice rooms use lidded buckets. For example, a lid helps when waste waits for collection. It also helps in shared spaces.
Fitting
Place the lid squarely on the rim. Then press gently so it seats. Also, check that it lifts off easily for emptying.
Buying with a bucket
The bucket is sold separately. In addition, many buyers order both together. Also, that way the sizes match from the start.
