Thudichum Nasal Speculum

The Thudichum nasal speculum is a small speculum for the nasal vestibule. Clinicians use it to open the nostril for a quick examination.

A simple nasal speculum

The Thudichum rests in the nostril and holds it open. So it suits quick looks at the anterior septum and vestibule. It is therefore a common choice for simple nasal checks.

Eight single sizes

We sell single sizes 1 to 8. Their blades measure 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 27 mm, in that order. As a result, size 1 is the smallest and size 8 the largest.

Two sets

You can also buy a set of 7 with sizes 1 to 7. Alternatively, the set of 5 contains sizes 4 to 8. With the eight singles and two sets, there are 10 options in all.

Which Thudichum option

A pediatric clinic may prefer the set of 7, because it covers the smaller sizes. Meanwhile, an adult clinic may prefer the set of 5. Single sizes then replace a lost or worn Thudichum.

Caring for the Thudichum

Wash each Thudichum after use and rinse it well. Next, dry it completely. Then sterilize it and store the set in order of size, so the right Thudichum is easy to find.
