Description
The Shea fiber optic retractor gives lit exposure in ear and small field work. An external light often cannot reach past the surgeon’s own hands. This instrument solves that problem at the source.
Illumination travels through a fiber bundle to the tip of the 14.5 mm blade. As a result, the light arrives where the tissue is. The 25 cm working length also keeps the handle and the light post clear of the line of sight.
The blade edges are finished to a smooth radius. Because of this, the retractor can rest against tissue for the length of a dissection. Contact points stay free of trauma.
