Description
The Aufricht fiber optic nasal retractor lifts and holds the nasal dorsum during rhinoplasty and septal work, carrying illumination down the blade so the pocket is lit from inside rather than from a headlamp over the surgeon’s shoulder. The light guide terminates at the working end, which puts the light where the tissue is instead of at the handle.
Two blade widths are offered. The 7 mm blade suits narrow pockets and secondary cases. The 10 mm blade gives broader retraction for primary dorsal exposure. Each width comes with or without a suction channel, so blood and smoke can be cleared through the same instrument that is holding the field open.
