Description
Ryder-Vascular Needle Holder, Tungsten Carbide
The Ryder-Vascular needle holder has very slim jaws for fine vessel work in tight fields. Its tungsten carbide inserts carry our finest micro profile.
Very slim jaws
The narrow tip of the Ryder-Vascular needle holder hides behind the needle. As a result, you see exactly where the point enters the vessel wall. Also, the slim profile fits between closely spaced sutures.
Micro profile
A micro serration grips fine sutures and small needles. Also, the carbide keeps that grip across many cycles. So it suits the finest vascular thread.
Seven lengths
The range runs from 13 to 26 cm. So one pattern covers shallow and deep anastomoses alike. Plus, the longest sizes reach deep into the chest.
Where it fits
Cardiac and peripheral vascular teams value a slim holder for work in cramped spaces. Then the Ryder-Vascular needle holder guides fine needles through small openings with little wrist movement. Because the jaws stay narrow, they suit tight spaces around grafts.
Looking after Ryder-Vascular needle holder
Never use these slim jaws on heavy needles, since the tips can spring or chip. Next, rinse and brush the tips gently after each case. Finally, dry the jaws and fit a tip protector before storage in a closed tray.
