Description
Petrungaro Elevators
A Petrungaro elevator has a concave tip that condenses bone into small defects. Its tip carries depth marks from 1 to 8 mm. You can choose the Small Concave Tip or the Large Concave Tip. Every elevator gets a final look in our United States facility before dispatch.
Two Concave Tips for Two Defect Sizes
The catalogue describes the small tip as one that condenses bone into small defects. So the Small Concave Tip fits narrow sockets and tight voids. The Large Concave Tip, by comparison, covers a wider area with each press. Choose by the size of the defect you fill most often, or keep both.
Reading the 1 to 8 mm Marks
Graduations along the tip show how deep you are working. Therefore, you can track depth as you pack material, without switching to a probe. The 8 mm figure listed for this product matches the top mark.
Packing Graft Material in Steps
Concave tips cup the material. First, place a small increment of graft into the defect. Then press it with the tip, check the marks, and add the next layer. This stepwise approach helps you fill the space evenly. It also lets you stop at the depth you planned.
Coverage You Can Count On
Both versions are stainless steel and suited to routine reprocessing. Our guarantee, three years against manufacturing defects, applies to each Petrungaro elevator you order.
Material standards for surgical steel are covered in ASTM F899. You can browse similar tools under Dental Implant Instruments. To deliver graft material into the site before condensing it, add our Bone Graft Syringe, 4.5 mm. For general help, open the FAQs.
For trained dental surgeons and implant teams only. This elevator ships unsterilized; remove any packing residue, clean it and sterilize it before treatment, as detailed on our care and sterilization page. Transit timing is listed under shipping and delivery.
