Micro Scissors With Probe

These micro scissors with probe have a blunt probe on one blade. They measure 18 cm and come in five angles.

Five angles

You can choose 25°, 45°, 60°, 90° or 125°. So the blades match the approach to the vessel.

The probe tip

The probe slides inside a vessel without catching the wall. Then the other blade cuts along a guided line.

Spring action

Between cuts, a spring brings the blades back open. Also, it keeps the effort low.

Extending an arteriotomy

Insert the probe blade into the opening, then close the blades in short steps. Because the probe guards the far wall, the cut stays in one layer. Also, pick the angle that keeps your hand out of the view.

Reprocessing micro scissors with probe

Flush the probe tip carefully, since debris can hide behind it. Dry fully and store the pair with a guard.
