Marschik Forceps

Marschik forceps are long, curved forceps in our ENT range. Their length and curve suit work deep in the throat and neck, where a short instrument cannot reach.

Long reach with a curve

Deep surgical fields leave little room for the hand. So a 23 cm curved forceps lets the surgeon work at depth while the rings stay outside. The curve also helps the jaws come around structures.

Uses in ENT surgery

Surgeons may reach for long curved forceps during tonsil, neck or pharyngeal work. For example, they can grasp or dissect tissue deep in the field. Then other instruments take over for fine work.

If you already know this pattern from training, then check that the size matches your memory. However, if you are new to the pattern, ask us for images first. That way, you can confirm the fit for your cases.

Caring for the pair

Wash blood from the jaws right after the procedure. Next, part the Marschik jaws and scrub the hinge carefully. Finally, dry them and sterilize them open.
