Description
Lambert-Lowman Bone Holding Clamps
The Lambert-Lowman bone clamp holds long bones and plates steady during fixation. It comes in three lengths.
The Lowman family
Lowman clamps are known for a secure, adjustable grip on bone. Besides, this Lambert-Lowman version shares that design. It holds plates against bone during screw placement.
Three lengths
Choose 18, 20 or 23 cm. Furthermore, the shorter one suits the forearm and fibula. Meanwhile, the 23 cm version suits the tibia and femur.
Who uses the Lambert-Lowman bone clamp
Plate fixation of the tibia and forearm is its main job. In addition, it steadies bone during corrective osteotomy. It suits revision work as well.
Holding a plate
Place the clamp across bone and plate together. Then tighten until the plate sits flat. Drill and fix while the clamp holds.
Adjustability
An adjustable clamp adapts to different bone sizes. Consequently, one clamp covers several cases. That saves tray space.
Choosing the length
Use the 18 cm clamp on the forearm and fibula. In contrast, choose 20 cm for the humerus and 23 cm for the tibia or femur. Many sets carry two lengths.

Lambert-Lowman care
