Description
Kilner Fine-Operating Scissors
Kilner scissors have curved, fine blades for plastic surgery. They come in 12 and 15 cm.
Two lengths
The 12 cm size suits close, delicate work. However, the 15 cm size adds reach.
Curved blades
The curve follows tissue planes. So the tips stay visible as you cut.
Tungsten carbide option
A 12 cm tungsten carbide pair is also available, sold as the Ragnell (Kilner) pattern.
Kilner and Ragnell
The Ragnell pattern is closely related to the Kilner. Therefore the catalogue lists the carbide pair under both names. Then you can keep a plain and a carbide pair in the same shape. Also, the gentle curve keeps the tips visible during undermining. So the pair suits both facial and body contouring work.
Reprocessing Kilner scissors
Clean the curved blades gently. Next, rinse and dry fully. Then store the scissors closed.
