Description
Kevorkian Cervical Biopsy and Specimen Forceps Shaft, Tip Only
The Kevorkian biopsy tip is a component: a 25 cm shaft with Kevorkian punch jaws but no handle. You fit it to the stand-alone handle in our interchangeable cervical biopsy range.
What you receive
This listing covers the shaft and jaws only. So you will need the handle-only product to complete the instrument. Plus, clinics that already own the handle can simply add this pattern.
Kevorkian jaw pattern
Kevorkian jaws give clinicians a punch bite suited to cervical sampling. Also, many colposcopy teams keep this pattern as a routine choice. Then they add other tip styles for special cases.
Working length
The shaft measures 25 cm, which clears a vaginal speculum comfortably. In addition, it keeps the operator’s hand out of the colposcope’s view. As a result, aiming at a small target stays easy.
Mixing tips on one handle
A single handle can carry a Kevorkian biopsy tip one day and another pattern the next. That way, the clinic matches the jaw to each patient. Meanwhile, fewer complete forceps need storage and reprocessing.
Cleaning Kevorkian biopsy tip
Remove the tip from its handle as soon as the procedure ends. Then soak the jaws briefly and brush them clean under water. Finally, inspect the Kevorkian biopsy tip for dull edges before sterilizing it.
