The Joseph hook is a sharp skin hook named after Jacques Joseph, a pioneer of rhinoplasty. Surgeons use it to lift nasal skin and hold flap edges during nose surgery.

Joseph designed many of the tools still found on nasal trays. This hook follows that tradition, because it does one simple job well. It holds skin up with a sharp point, so the surgeon can work under the flap.
