Description
Husfeldt Atrauma Cardiovascular Peripheral Vascular Clamp
The Husfeldt clamp gives gentle occlusion for peripheral vessels. It comes in three figures, each measuring between 17 and 18 cm.
Three figures
Figures 1, 2 and 3 each carry a different jaw form. So you can match the figure to the vessel and the angle of approach. Please compare the photos on each listing before you order.
Peripheral work
Surgeons use it on vessels in the arms, legs and neck. As a result, it slots neatly into a peripheral vascular tray. Its atraumatic jaws help protect the arterial and venous wall.
A compact length
At 17 to 18 cm, the clamp stays easy to handle in a small incision. Meanwhile, it still reaches vessels at moderate depth. That combination suits most peripheral exposures.
Building a set
Many teams keep all three figures together so they can switch mid-case. In addition, the Husfeldt clamp sits comfortably beside other peripheral patterns. Then one tray can cover a wider mix of vessels.
Reprocessing Husfeldt clamp
Use a moistened pad at the table to lift blood off the jaws. Next, clean the clamp open in the washer and check that each figure still closes true. Finally, dry the three figures and keep them in labeled spaces.
