Hohmann-Aldinger Bone Lever
The Hohmann-Aldinger bone lever is a 28 cm variant of the Hohmann retractor. Its 24 mm blade hooks around bone and holds tissue clear.
A Hohmann variant
It keeps the hooked tip and levering action of the Hohmann design. However, it adds a longer body for deeper exposures. As a result, it suits larger patients and bones.
Blade and length
The blade measures 24 mm across, a useful middle width. Meanwhile, the 28 cm body gives reach. So it works around the hip, femur and knee.
