Description
Heiss Artery Forceps
Heiss artery forceps are a fine 20 cm clamp. You can choose a straight jaw, a slight curve or a strong curve.
Three jaw shapes
Straight jaws suit a direct line. Meanwhile, the slight and strong curves let the tips pass behind tissue.
A 20 cm length
The length reaches most deep work. Also, it leaves room for other instruments.
Fine tips
Slim tips hold small vessels and fine ties. So they disturb less tissue.
Matching the curve
The strong curve helps when a vessel lies behind another structure. By contrast, the slight curve gives better control on open planes. Therefore many teams stock two shapes. Then the surgeon picks as the dissection unfolds. Also, the three shapes share one length, which keeps handling the same. So you can switch shapes without adjusting your grip. Then pick the curve that fits each step.
Care of Heiss artery forceps
Brush the fine tips gently. Next, flush and let the clamp dry fully. Then keep the tips capped in storage.
