Description
Fukushima Suction Tube with Finger Cut-Off, Stylet and Luer Hub
The Fukushima suction tube is a fine suction for microneurosurgery. It has a finger cut-off to regulate suction, a stylet for clearing the lumen and a Luer hub for connection.
Suction for microsurgery
Under the microscope, the surgeon needs suction that is precise and easy to vary. So the finger cut-off lets the surgeon raise or lower the pull without looking away. Meanwhile, the slim tube keeps the view clear.
Four lengths
We offer four total lengths: 16, 17.5, 19.5 and 22 cm. The matching working lengths run 10.5, 11.5, 14.5 and 16.5 cm. As a result, you can pick the reach that suits a shallow or a deep field.
Nine diameters
Diameters range from 1.0 to 4.0 mm, or Ch03 to Ch12 on the Charriere gauge. Combined with the four lengths, that makes thirty-six options. Fine diameters suit delicate work, while wider ones clear more fluid.
Choosing your set
Most microsurgeons use several sizes during one case. For example, a 1.5 mm tube may work near vessels, and then a 3.0 mm tube clears pooled blood. Therefore, a set of three diameters in your usual length is a practical start.
Caring for your Fukushima suction tube
Flush the narrow lumen immediately after use, because blood clots fast in fine tubes. Then run the stylet through it to clear any residue. Dry the tube and stylet completely, and sterilize them together.

Ordering Fukushima tubes
Fukushima tubes ship with our three-year warranty covering workmanship. Before they leave Atlanta, we check the lumen, hub and stylet by hand. The suction FAQ page answers order questions. We also name ASTM F899 as the standard that defines steels for fine instruments. For larger volumes, compare the Frazier suction tube. Our neurosurgery microsurgical tools list other options.
For professional use. The Fukushima care and sterilization notes explain how suction tube photos may differ and why stainless contains nickel, while our shipping and transit page explains delivery.
