Description
Endo Dissectors Arcus Marginalis S-Shaped
The arcus marginalis dissector releases tissue along the rim of the orbit. Its S-curve lets the tip reach the rim from a port in the scalp.
Reaching the orbital rim
The rim sits far from the hairline. So the shaft bends twice to follow the forehead. Consequently, the tip arrives flat against the bone.
Choosing an arcus marginalis dissector handle
We offer ergonomic and standard handles. In addition, the 10 mm tip is the same on both. In practice, surgeons pick the grip they already use on similar tools.
Clinical role
It frees the arcus marginalis in brow and upper face lifts. Moreover, this release lets the brow move upward. Typically it follows the frontoglabellar step.
Reaching the rim from the hairline
The rim lies well below the entry port. Accordingly, the shaft bends twice to bring the tip down onto it. Light pressure along the bone then releases the attachments without breaching the orbital septum.
Arcus marginalis dissector specification
- 10 mm tip

Cleaning the curve
Pass a soft brush along both bends. Rinse well and dry. Then store the dissector in a protective tray.
After you order
The product warranty covering each dissector spans three years against manufacturing defects after purchase. An Atlanta colleague examines this dissector one at a time before the courier comes. Some trays also hold our frontoglabellar dissectors. Visit the rest of our general surgical range for the rest of the set. For a summary of surgical alloys, go to ASTM F899. Most hospitals keep an extra dissector to avoid delays. The FAQ section goes over common order questions.
