Description
Diethrich Featherlight Bulldog Clamp
The Diethrich bulldog clamp is a small, light clamp for fine vessels. It holds flow back gently while you work nearby.
Jaw and length choices
The 50 mm size takes an 8 mm or 12 mm jaw. Meanwhile, the 60 mm size carries a longer 20 mm jaw. So you can match the jaw to the width of the vessel.
Straight or angled
Straight clamps lie along the vessel. However, angled ones lift away from the site and give you a clearer view. Many teams keep both shapes in the same tray.
For fine work
Small vessels need light pressure and a slim profile. Therefore this pattern suits delicate branches and small arteries. Plus, its low weight keeps drag on tissue to a minimum.
Stocking a set
Order the Diethrich bulldog clamp in pairs so you can occlude above and below a site. Next, add one angled clamp for awkward access. In addition, spares cover the time a clamp spends in reprocessing.
Looking after Diethrich bulldog clamp
Rinse each clamp open under warm water right after use. Then scrub the small jaws with a soft brush and let them dry fully. Also, park them in a dedicated rack so tiny clamps stay together.
