Description
Arm with Joint for Martin Arm
This part gives you the articulated arm with the Martin arm joint, one piece of the Martin holding system. It links the table post to the holding rod.
What the joint does
The joint lets the arm bend and hold an angle. So you can bring the rod close to the field from the side you choose. Then the arm keeps that position while you work.
One piece of three
The system needs a table post, this arm and a holding rod. However, you can buy each one alone if a part wears out. Also, a complete set covers all three at once.
Replacement use
A stiff or loose joint makes positioning slow. In that case, a new arm brings back smooth setup. Plus, a spare arm keeps the system ready while one goes out for repair.
Fit
This arm belongs to the Martin system and suits Martin posts and rods. Because other holders use different fittings, check your set first. Then order the Martin arm joint in its single size.
Reprocessing Martin arm joint
Move the joint through its full range before cleaning. Next, flush the joint area and brush any seams where fluid can collect. Finally, dry the arm fully and store it straight with the joint loose.
