Description
Wash Bowls
The wash bowl is a deep, wide vessel for bedside washing and large-volume irrigation. Its rolled rim adds strength and makes it easy to carry when full.
Two sizes
We offer 300 x 100 mm and 350 x 120 mm. Read them as width across, then depth. Besides, that extra 20 mm of depth on the larger bowl adds a lot of capacity.
Where a wash bowl is used
Ward staff use it for patient hygiene. Theatres use it to hold warm saline for irrigation. Also, sterile services teams use it to soak instruments before cleaning.
Why steel over plastic
Steel survives repeated autoclave cycles. It does not crack, stain or absorb odours. Therefore, one bowl outlasts many plastic ones and keeps a clean appearance.
Carrying and pouring
Hold the rim on opposite sides when moving a full bowl. Then tilt slowly to pour. The rolled edge then keeps the flow smooth and controlled.
Pairing with smaller vessels
Many units keep a wash bowl alongside smaller solution bowls. The large bowl holds bulk fluid, while small bowls carry measured amounts to the field. Together they cover most needs.

Caring for large bowls
Empty it promptly, before minerals can crust on the steel. Wash with neutral detergent and dry. Stack bowls nested by size.
